Suzie has 24 years of experience as an energy healer, massage therapist, mentor, coach, educator and facilitator.
She has been a presenter and facilitator at several conferences teaching mindfulness meditation and stress-reduction techniques. Suzie is an artist, floral photographer, writer and steward of the earth. She is a mother and grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren. Her commitment is to help families, from newborns to elders, on their healing journey and to empower people with self-healing tools.
Her journey into the healing arts began in 1984 at a healing conference where she was introduced to Reiki energy healing. She became a second degree Reiki practitioner.
Suzie opened a massage practice in North Carolina in 1986, becoming nationally certified. Her passion for energy medicine continued and she became a certified Healing Touch practitioner, a Johrei energy practitioner, and studied with many energy medicine teachers, including Robert Jaffee, MD, Richard Bartlett, DC of Matrix Energetics, Tom Schaefer, DO of esoteric healing, Margaret Ruby, founder of Possibilities DNA/THETA healing, Donna Eden Energy Medicine. She has also studied color puncture, aromatherapy, sound and stone therapy, essential oil bath therapy, and works with flower essences and gem elixirs. Suzie studied with Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi and has been initiated into sharing Diksha.
Suzie is also a Certified Educator of Infant Massage with Infant Massage USA, and a Certified educator of Happiest Baby on the Block, a program of pediatrician, Harvey Karp, MD. She has additional studies in Healing Touch for Babies and currently offers week-end classes in Energy Healing for Parents, Babies and Family, as well as a 5-week course in Infant Massage. In 1998, the tools Suzie had studied over the years came in handy when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Over the next many years, this forged her deeper into her inner healing journey, leading her into the deep recesses of the crone wise woman path which she continues to follow with her mentors, the ancient and wise shamans, healers and medicine women - the wise Grandmothers from all four corners of the globe and those that transcend time. |
